Return Policy and Costs
Michelson’s Shoes accepts returns of unworn, resellable, regular-price merchandise for a refund only.
Return Eligibility
Returned items must meet the following conditions:
- Items must be received by us within fifteen (15) days of the delivery date.
- Merchandise must be unworn and show no signs of use, including but not limited to:

- scuffing on the soles, heels, or uppers
- dirt, dust, or hair inside the footwear
Returns that do not meet these standards will not be accepted.
Defective Merchandise
Items with verified manufacturing defects may be replaced or refunded at our discretion after inspection.
Return Shipping
- Return Authorization is not required.
- The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
- We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS Priority Mail and keeping your tracking number.
Michelson’s Shoes is not responsible for return packages that are lost or do not arrive at our store.
Packaging Requirements
All returns must include:
- The original shoe box and/or original packaging (including any hangtags)
- A copy of your order confirmation, sales receipt, or packing slip
The shoe box must be shipped inside a protective outer shipping carton.
Please do not ship shoe boxes in envelopes or wrapped in paper, as they may be crushed in transit.
Restocking Fees
Returns received with:
- tape applied directly to the shoe box, or
- crushed or damaged shoe boxes
will incur a restocking fee of $20 per pair or 20% of the purchase price (whichever is greater).
Exchanges
We do not process direct exchanges. If you need a different size or style, please:
- Return the original item following the instructions above
- Place a new order separately
Once your return is received and inspected, a refund will be issued for the original purchase.
